Anchor's Aweigh Square

While I am posting, I will finally post my pattern for an afghan square that I wrote last summer for Ship's Support. I was frustrated at not being able to find very many knitted squares appropriate for guys. So I wrote one. It should knit up to 7 inches square in worsted weight yarn.

Great 'guy friendly' square. How clever of you to design it :)

Hi there just love this pattern. Do you have any more like it. I love knitting and seeing the picture. I am going to make a baby blanket out of the squares. I think I am going to try the snowflake blanket next

Do you think there is a way to make this a large baby blanket size?

Hi Leah, I think I would just make up enough blocks to make a blanket, sew them together and then add an edging.
