Looking for the Little Owl

Good morning all. I know I have been woefully neglectful in posting. I received a request some time ago to post the directions for the Little Owl Sweater Variation. I diligently started work on the directions.....then life got in the way. My mother had her other leg amputated and was in the hospital for 2 months. While she was there, my husband collapsed and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Both of them have been home now for 6 weeks and I am just beginning to get organized. Every week there are doctor's appointments for one of them and between cooking, laundry, etc, etc, etc, I just haven't been able to get back to my patterns. Hopefully I will have some time soon to publish the new directions. I am so sorry.

so sorry to hear of your bad luck streak. I hope all is going well for you now. I know it's a lot of work, I do am going through a similar situation. It is very tiring. I don't know how you keep up with a blog on top of all of this!
It does help to chat with people dealing with the life of the caregiver.
Please take care of yourself first of all, I know that isn't always easy either.

I am so sorry for your difficulties. I hope you have found yourself back on track and that life is treating you better. I know just what it's like, and I'm sure everyone else does also.

Hi Donna'
Thank you for visiting my blog today and leaving such a nice note. I'm glad that you found joy in retirement. I never, not for a minute, wanted to go back to work. I always had a supervisory position that was stressful and 40+ hours a week. While I worked I never was able to balance work, family and my creative needs. Retirement is a freeing time for me.

Sorry, you are a no reply commentor. I would have liked to visit with you further.
Happy Halloween.
